The music of Michael Franks - the jazzy songwriting with pop sensibilities, smooth vocals and clever texts - has always had a great influence on me. Here’s a tribute to the gem of an album that is “The Art of Tea” from 1976, and its closing track “Mr. Blue” - gentle melodies and poetic lyrics reminiscing about lost love.
