Yesterday at @novembermusicnl / @willem_twee_kunstruimte - it was an honor to perform Luciano Berio's seminal Gesti (1966) and premiere @ilhan_gazioglu's Lament for recorder during the first half of the Sequenza Marathon among top performers and composers who wrote for them, all insightfully presented by Giovanni Cestino from the Centro studi Luciano Berio and fantastically coordinated by @remycomposes. 🙏 A wonderful initiative commemorating the centenary of Berio and celebrating the impact of these works that carries into the future.
