Aino Peltomaan luoman FLOS-ohjelmistokokonaisuuden teemana ovat arktiset uhanalaiset kukat. Yhtye yhdistelee kekseliäästi keskiajan kukkateemaisia sävelmiä omiin sävellyksiinsä ja kansansävelmiin, laajentaen äänimaisemaa elektronisten efektien avulla. Kuulemme birgittalaissävelmiä sekä keskiajan mystikon Hildegard Bingeniläisen syväluotaavia ja virtuoottisia melodioita, runosävelmiä, loitsuja, omia sävellyksiä sekä vauhdikasta improvisaatiota.

The theme of Aino Peltomaa’s programme FLOS is Arctic endangered flowers. The ensemble combines flower themed medieval melodies with their own compositions as well as folk songs in an inventive way, while expanding the soundscape with electronic effects. We get to hear Bridgettine chants as well as profound and virtuosic melodies by the medieval mystic Hildegard von Bingen, runo songs, spells, own compositions and fast improvisation.
